Centered macro portrait of a single dark moody flower on a slender stem, translucent pale petals with smoky blue tones and subtle veining, deep indigo to burgundy ruffled inner throat, soft white stamens in sharp focus. Minimal white background, diffused studio backlighting, high contrast between delicate petals and dark core, ultra-clean composition, fine botanical detail, contemporary fine-art editorial photography.

Leonardo.ai website visuals
Leonardo rebuilt its website and needed imagery across the product pages. I worked with the design team on a visual system and guidelines, then made the visuals.
Overview
The aim was work that felt handcrafted. Consistent enough to feel like one brand, loose enough to cover cars, ceramics and glass flowers.
Every image had a job. It sat next to a line of copy, spoke to one kind of maker, and had to look like something they’d actually want to make.

The picture finishes the sentence
Every image starts with the line next to it. The copy makes a claim, the image backs it up. When the page talks to designers, the images look like a designer made them.

Prompts as recipes
Some images ship with their prompts, so anyone can copy one and make their own. That changes the job. A pretty output isn’t enough, it has to be reproducible. So each prompt has a clear anchor, style comes first, and anything that doesn’t earn its place gets cut.
Ultra close up three quarter view of a green Lamborghini emerging from darkness with lights on, sharp, elegant headlight geometry partially obscured by motion blur, light streaks, and refraction, as if seen through moving glass or a prism. Deep cool background with smooth gradients, delicate film grain, atmospheric haze and restrained light bloom, cinematic fine-art object photography.
Shallow depth-of-field cityscape photograph at twilight, subtly framed with soft out-of-focus sakura blossoms in the foreground creating warm pink bokeh. Tokyo skyline silhouetted in the background, centered on a tokyo tower, buildings rendered as dark shapes against a fading dusk sky. Natural twilight gradient, calm atmospheric mood, strong foreground-background separation, minimal composition, cinematic urban photography.
Top-down shot of a woman lying in a red outfit lying gracefully on tall green grass, windswept field stretching to the horizon, overcast sky, surreal editorial photography.
Rear three-quarter view of a classic Porsche 911 driving along a reflective salt flats track with shallow water and salt-crusted ground, spray and salt flakes kicked up behind the car, bright sunlight, vast open landscape, cinematic automotive photography.
Cinematic close-up portrait of a korean model wearing a retro-futuristic space helmet with a blue-tinted visor half open over a black blazer, shot from a slight low angle as she gazes upward. The helmet design is minimalist and fills most of the frame, blue visor casting cool cyan tones across her face. Soft diffused lighting, shallow depth of field, over exposed background, intimate framing focused on the face. Muted sci-fi color palette, subtle film grain, gentle bloom and halation, editorial retro-future sci-fi style.

Hundreds of virtual photoshoots
I directed each image like a shoot: light, mood, what it should make you feel. Then came the harder part, which was choosing. Here’s the set. Filter by subject, and hover for the prompt where I’ve shared it.

See it live
A few of the pages the images live on. There are more across the site.
